Magical Cultural Food Village

The Magical Cultural Food Village is the heart of the festival and is hosted in Windhoek at the Zoo Park. The Magical Cultural Food Village entail the following experiences:

• Regional dishes prepared by representatives from across Namibia
• Cultural ingredients, spices and traditional artefacts
• Storytelling about regional food traditions
• Cultural exhibitions and performances
• Entertainment Activities
• Each region will present the dish that won its regional competition, allowing visitors and judges to vote for the ultimate winner.

At the end of the festival, one region will be crowned:

• Namibia’s Region of Food & Gastronomy 2026
